Software Engineer – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement essential components of the Integrations Platform, including APIs, event-driven architectures, and connector orchestration layers.

• Create and enhance integration frameworks focused on reusable authentication, job retries, error management, observability, and onboarding for developers.

• Deliver top-notch, secure, and maintainable integrations with Okta, Workday, Azure AD, ServiceNow, and various external systems.

• Develop SDKs, CLI tools, and comprehensive documentation to enhance the experience for both internal and external developers.

• Influence technical decisions through architecture evaluations, mentoring, and collaboration with engineering teams.

• Advocate for resilience, observability, and scalability throughout the integrations architecture.

• Partner with platform, product, and infrastructure teams to enhance platform capabilities.

• Establish infrastructure that connects applications, identities, and data for enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing scalable services, APIs, or integrations.

• Strong background as a backend or platform engineer.

• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, such as webhooks, event queues, third-party APIs, and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.

• Expertise in one or more modern backend programming languages, including Python, Go, or TypeScript.

• In-depth understanding of API design, system performance, and software architecture.

• Knowledge of identity and access management systems, such as SCIM, OAuth2, SAML, IDPs, and HRIS tools.

• Considerate approach to developer experience and effective technical communication.

• Proven record of delivering scalable platform features.
