Software Engineer III, EHR Integration Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, and upkeep of integration solutions for EHR systems.

• Collaborate with product managers to comprehend requirements and discuss designs with stakeholders.

• Provide ongoing support from the initial concept to release, operation, and maintenance.

• Design, construct, and sustain highly available systems that support medical applications and enhance patient outcomes.

• Assist the QA engineering team in quality assurance activities.

• Receive on-the-job training on EHR software, including Mirth and Epic.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of overall software development experience.

• Proficiency in developing secure and scalable web applications using Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, and other web technologies.

• Experience in object-oriented programming with Java.

• Familiarity with open-source frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes, including building, software configuration, releases, and deployment activities.

• Basic knowledge of Test-Driven Development and/or Domain-Driven Development.

• Fundamental understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and S3.

• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST API design, and relational databases.

• Object-Oriented Programming skills.

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Proficiency in ES5 JavaScript.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Docker or container-oriented technologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes (GitLab).

• Strong teamwork, analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
