Software Engineer II, UI/UX, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a significant feature, service, or technical workstream within a product domain.

• Convert product and business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Produce clean, efficient code that aligns with sprint commitments and coding standards.

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and provide support for major features, services, or key segments of team software.

• Make design decisions considering maintainability, performance, dependencies, delivery speed, and operational risk.

• Lead root-cause analysis for intricate defects.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to design discussions, planning, and operational excellence evaluations.

• Enhance development, testing, deployment, documentation, or support processes.

• Utilize approved AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while ensuring the output is correct, secure, and maintainable.

• Guide junior engineers and assist in onboarding new team members.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience in designing and developing stable, maintainable, and high-performance software or services.

• Strong coding skills in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with the typical software delivery lifecycle.

• Experience with code reviews, design trade-offs, debugging, testing, and providing production support.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• In-depth knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, object-oriented programming, and relational databases (Oracle).
