This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the New Relic query gateway stack.

• Engage in cross-functional committees and collaborate with teams focused on AI, Visualizations, and Data Processing.

• Develop and sustain scalable distributed Java services and infrastructure capable of handling petabytes of data.

• Analyze and resolve critical performance, availability, and resiliency challenges within a multi-region, multi-cloud, multi-tenant distributed database.

• Operate within an agile DevOps setting.

• Develop and manage the software produced by the team.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to address system failures.

• Handle systems that manage millions of messages per second and petabytes of data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in collaborative software development.

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and contemporary software design and development methodologies.

• A self-motivated individual with a robust sense of ownership regarding code and commitments.

• Proficient in using the command line to troubleshoot and rectify issues.

• Experience in Java, or equivalent expertise in another object-oriented programming language such as C++, C#, etc.

• May need to successfully complete an export compliance assessment.
