Software Engineer II – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using an embedded iPaaS in both no-code and full-code settings.

• Enhance the customer-facing API by incorporating new features, boosting reliability, and facilitating deployments.

• Create scalable and maintainable code with an emphasis on quality and long-term sustainability.

• Work collaboratively with team members to uphold coding standards and best practices.

• Engage in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

• Diagnose and resolve integration issues in conjunction with support and customer success teams.

• Balance both internal and external requirements when designing technical solutions.

• Function within a scrum-light framework with daily standups and Jira ticket management.

• Lead smaller projects and technical spikes, clarifying requirements and identifying gaps early on.

• Collaborate with product teams and QA while mentoring junior engineers.

• Contribute to the engineering community through knowledge sharing, demonstrations, and documentation.

• Suggest architectural enhancements and champion performance, maintainability, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development.

• Familiarity with iPaaS platforms, particularly Prismatic, is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience with SQL and relational database management.

• Ability to integrate with third-party APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth).

• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Proven ability to deliver features that have a measurable impact.

• A passion for writing high-quality code.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, solving complex problems, and making thoughtful design trade-offs.

• Effective communication of technical plans, risks, and decisions to peers and stakeholders.

• Dedication to remaining up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows, applying them judiciously.

• Experience with other embedded iPaaS platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.

• Experience collaborating directly with customers or customer-facing teams is advantageous.

• Contributions to API design or improvements in developer experience are beneficial.

• Proximity to the Charlotte, NC metro area is a bonus.
