Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable web applications and APIs.

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from initial concept to final deployment.

• Architect system solutions and execute software implementations.

• Enhance application performance through optimization strategies.

• Assess both technical and business requirements to create system solutions.

• Deliver support for both front-end and back-end system software.

• Create documentation for applications and code.

• Collaborate with users and application stakeholders to confirm and validate requirements.

• Develop packages and procedures for Java-based applications.

• Write SQL queries, database triggers, PL/SQL, and packages as per business needs.

• Follow standard working hours, adhere to deadlines, comply with company policies, maintain regular communication with assigned supervisors, and complete additional assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technology, or a related field.

• Over 2 years of experience in Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, and Angular.

• More than 2 years of experience in SQL development, preferably with Oracle 19c or later.

• At least 2 years of experience working as part of a software development team.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical documentation, including design documents and system specifications.

• Over 2 years of experience in analyzing technical specifications.

• Must possess the capability to obtain and maintain a CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Strong attention to detail is essential.

• A keen interest in learning and embracing new challenges in a collaborative team environment.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience with Java, ASP.NET with MVC, Visual C#, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services frameworks.

• Preferred: More than 2 years of experience in a cloud-based environment, such as Azure.

• Familiarity with standard SDLC methodologies is necessary.

• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in Agile development.

• Knowledge of core enterprise application development practices and architecture.

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and an understanding of workflows and requirements/design documentation.

• Knowledge of RDBMS, including Oracle 19c or higher, or SQL Server 2014 or later.

• Familiarity with Postgres as both a relational and object store.

• Experience working under CMMI Level 3 standards.
