Software Engineer I – SDE1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage both frontend and backend product functionalities.

• Design and create APIs and internal services.

• Engage with databases, authentication protocols, queues, file storage, and third-party integrations.

• Connect applications with AI models, inference services, RAG systems, and AI agents.

• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.

• Write tests and enhance the reliability of applications.

• Take part in technical design discussions regarding features you own.

• Deploy and oversee applications on cloud platforms.

• Evaluate code and integrate feedback from senior engineers.

• Collaborate with AI engineers to transform model capabilities into functional product features.

• Manage defined features from their implementation to delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in full-stack software development, including the creation and deployment of web applications.

• Strong foundational skills in programming and problem-solving.

• Experience in developing and releasing web applications.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with a modern frontend or backend framework.

• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, Git, and typical web application patterns.

• Capability to read and modify an existing codebase safely.

• Skills to diagnose issues rather than merely addressing symptoms.

• Knowledge of basic testing and software quality practices.

• Ability to articulate clearly about implementation decisions, trade-offs, and obstacles.

• Experience in taking ownership of a feature or a significant segment of a project from development to delivery.

• Familiarity with React, Next.js, Node.js, cloud platforms, AI integrations, or production systems is advantageous.

• Competence in understanding code, assessing approaches, identifying incorrect suggestions, testing implementations, debugging failures, and taking accountability for final outcomes.
