Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete development cycle of software applications and business logic.

• Take part in Agile/Scrum meetings.

• Contribute to project estimation and planning efforts.

• Perform code reviews and write both code and tests.

• Get involved in research and development activities related to generative AI.

• Support deployment and testing/validation processes in QA.

• Assist with deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Aid in application monitoring and process automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is required.

• At least one year of relevant experience in software development is preferred.

• Familiarity with generative AI technology is preferred.

• Practical experience with the Microsoft Azure platform, including DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure monitoring, is preferred.

• Proficient in C#, Java, or Python.

• Knowledge of databases and operating systems; working familiarity with MS SQL.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Experience with database programming, including SQL Server queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with UI programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, and CSS.

• Capability to write well-structured and maintainable code in C# and SQL.

• Eagerness and capacity to quickly learn new technologies.

• Exposure to CSS, PowerShell, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of machine learning and concepts related to generative AI.

• Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable components.

• Experience with GitHub or another version control system; familiarity with CI/CD concepts is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts and application KPI tracking is a plus.

• Understanding Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is advantageous.

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team setting.

• Strong communication skills in English.
