Software Engineer – Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Go APIs and workers that constitute the authentication gateway and request-routing layer for financial transactions.

• Engage in the development of authentication and authorization workflows (OAuth2, JWT, certificates, IDP, SK).

• Maintain and improve API Gateway plugins to ensure comprehensive resilience and observability.

• Guarantee high availability, performance, and low latency in edge services that manage substantial traffic volumes.

• Take part in the Kubernetes deployment lifecycle, observability efforts, and incident response activities.

• Document the changes implemented.

• Construct and sustain production systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, and resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capable of identifying gaps in architecture and development processes, along with proposing effective solutions.

• Perform code and documentation reviews.

• Implement automated testing and adhere to CI/CD best practices.

• Develop software in Go, possessing 5+ years of production experience with a focus on highly critical services.

• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and certificate management).

• Possess a strong security mindset, encompassing secrets management, encryption, and the hardening of exposed APIs.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and deploying containerized applications.

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL), non-relational databases (MongoDB), and distributed caching (Redis).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with the team on architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.

• Experience with API Gateway architecture, AWS, GitOps, and ArgoCD; knowledge of the financial services market is advantageous.
