Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the server-side application logic for the game.

• Enhance software applications utilizing contemporary development frameworks and methodologies, including Ruby 3.

• Create software analytics and observability solutions.

• Manage and uphold automated testing protocols.

• Perform unit testing and conduct code reviews.

• Refactor existing source code.

• Evaluate and enhance software performance.

• Document and write code that aligns with project standards and functionality requirements.

• Introduce new technologies and information to enhance documentation practices, scalability, testing techniques, and code refactoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development.

• Background in the iGaming industry.

• Proficient working knowledge of Ruby.

• Familiarity with C/C++, Rust, or Go Lang is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of Linux-based operating systems.

• Fundamental knowledge of command line operations and the Git Version Control System.

• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Eagerness to learn and work with new technologies, such as gRPC, GraphQL, and Go Lang.

• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills in English.

• An open and persuasive communication style, capable of articulating complex issues and relationships.

• Must reside within the European time zone (+/- 2 hours).
