Software Engineer, GenAI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production software applications, backend services, and APIs that support enterprise and AI-driven solutions.

• Integrate AI services, LLM APIs, enterprise applications, databases, and external systems into dependable business workflows.

• Construct secure and scalable application components with a focus on performance, authentication, error handling, and maintainability.

• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and software engineering practices to ensure production reliability.

• Diagnose application issues, enhance performance, and assist with deployment and ongoing improvements.

• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, and client teams to execute integrations and develop reusable software components.

• Engage with clients to grasp technical requirements, explore implementation options, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience in developing, integrating, and maintaining production software applications, especially backend services and APIs.

• Proficient in designing enterprise integrations and linking applications with databases, cloud services, and external systems.

• Experience in applying software engineering methodologies, including testing, version control, CI/CD, and production monitoring.

• Knowledge of application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability in production settings.

• Strong programming abilities in at least one backend ecosystem, such as Java/Spring, Python/FastAPI, Node.js/TypeScript, .NET/C#, or Go.

• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs, backend services, and enterprise application integrations.

• Hands-on experience with databases, data access patterns, and processing data at the application level.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of Git, automated testing, CI/CD, authentication, application security, and software engineering practices for production.

• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into enterprise applications, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, or similar technologies (a plus).

• Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, tool calling, and AI-enabled application workflows (a plus).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, or distributed application architectures (a plus).

• Experience with event-driven systems, messaging platforms, asynchronous processing, or complex enterprise integrations (a plus).

• Understanding of observability, infrastructure automation, or cloud-native application development (a plus).

• Experience working directly with clients in consulting or professional services contexts (a plus).
