πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Design and develop enterprise security capabilities encompassing identity, authorization, permissions, auditability, policy, data controls, and administration.

β€’ Establish the security framework for agentic software development, including agent access to code, tools, credentials, customer data, and sensitive resources.

β€’ Take ownership of security-sensitive product areas from start to finish, including customer needs, product behavior, architecture, implementation, launch, and ongoing iterations.

β€’ Collaborate with Product and GTM teams to convert enterprise security requirements into product investments that encourage adoption while maintaining usability.

β€’ Set the technical vision for enterprise security and pinpoint high-impact capabilities and architectural investments.

β€’ Provide security expertise to engineering teams making architectural decisions related to authentication, authorization, isolation, data protection, and other security-critical systems.

β€’ Engage directly with the Warp codebase and oversee major technical domains comprehensively.

β€’ Assist in defining and developing security capabilities for organizations prioritizing security while adopting Warp and agentic software development.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in building complex production systems within a fast-paced product or startup environment.

β€’ Strong foundation in software engineering with a proven history of designing, developing, and launching significant product or platform capabilities.

β€’ Experience in creating security-sensitive enterprise features or systems, including authentication and authorization, RBAC/ABAC, SSO/SCIM, permissions and policy systems, audit logging, tenant isolation, secrets management, encryption, or data controls.

β€’ Excellent security intuition with the ability to analyze trust boundaries, permissions, credentials, data access, and potential system misuse.

β€’ Strong product judgment with the capability to convert enterprise security requirements into practical, user-friendly product experiences.

β€’ Ability to lead uncertain technical domains as a senior individual contributor and drive projects to completion.

β€’ Clear and thoughtful communication skills across engineering, Product, GTM, and technically savvy customers.

β€’ Comfortable working with a high degree of responsibility and ambiguity.

β€’ Nice to have: experience as a Senior or Staff engineer overseeing enterprise security, identity, authorization, trust, or governance capabilities.

β€’ Nice to have: experience in developing products utilized by security teams, CISOs, or enterprise administrators.

β€’ Nice to have: experience collaborating directly with enterprise customers or GTM teams.

β€’ Nice to have: experience securing AI or agentic systems, including scoped permissions, sandboxing/isolation, secrets and credentials, tool access, approval workflows, or customer data access.

β€’ Nice to have: experience in building security products or developer-oriented security systems.

β€’ Nice to have: familiarity with application security, threat modeling, vulnerability response, or managing security incidents.
