Software Engineer, Data Feeds

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers, experts in distributed systems computing, and security specialists to develop decentralized infrastructure.

• Design and implement features for Data Products, including trust-minimized off-chain computation and aggregation of external data across various blockchain environments.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for both new and existing data products.

• Acquire knowledge and work within blockchain ecosystems such as Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Ethereum.

• Develop core products utilizing smart contracts written in Solidity, Move, and Rust.

• Collaborate with the research team to create innovative products.

• Analyze attack vectors, failures, and disaster scenarios in reproducible test environments, and devise solutions.

• Oversee the architectural vision for new subsystems in the core Chainlink node.

• Create resilient distributed systems to ensure high reliability across blockchain environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a collaborative, product-focused setting.

• Familiarity with blockchain technology and other Web 3.0 innovations.

• Proven experience in developing smart contracts that secured significant value on-chain.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and systems design principles.

• Experience managing projects that span several months, including communicating progress, dependencies, and risk management to stakeholders and partners.

• Background in building distributed systems and low-latency applications.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Proficiency in Golang or another strongly typed programming language.

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.

• Experience in or with market data.
