Software Engineer – Backend, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist customers and staff in utilizing the platform, data, and tools effectively.

• Ensure the platform, data, and tools are consistently accessible.

• Identify and implement enhancements concerning security, quality, testing, automation, documentation, and new features.

• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task prioritization.

• Estimate the effort required for development tasks and aid in developing project timelines.

• Monitor and report on progress, proactively addressing any delays or obstacles.

• Take part in an asynchronous recruitment process, which includes an application, video interview, personality assessment, customized case study, hiring manager interview, and final team interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer, focusing on backend development and ETL for web applications.

• Experience in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing extensive data sets.

• Proficient in Python.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different timelines.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities using deductive reasoning, understanding of hierarchical relationships, and identification of logical gaps.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Must be located in Eastern Europe.

• Preferred: Proficiency in at least one of Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

• Preferred: Strong analytical and customer-facing skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
