Software Engineer – Backend, AI Code Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create realistic and complex coding challenges that encompass feature implementation and bug rectification.

• Develop tasks that mirror genuine backend engineering processes and real-world software development issues.

• Design deterministic verifiers that accept sensible valid solutions while rejecting improper implementations.

• Construct and validate solutions using backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or C++.

• Generate tasks that involve scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance enhancement, and automated testing.

• Evaluate code quality, maintainability, accuracy, and compliance with technical specifications.

• Establish evaluation criteria that differentiate robust solutions from superficially viable implementations.

• Integrate security considerations into tasks and verifiers wherever applicable.

• Document assumptions, anticipated behaviors, edge cases, and validation criteria.

• Exercise independent technical judgment throughout the task creation and review process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on backend development expertise with one or more of the following: Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.

• Proven experience in constructing scalable backend services and APIs.

• Practical knowledge in debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Experience in reviewing code and evaluating software quality, accuracy, and maintainability.

• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and core computer science principles.

• Capability to independently assess technical challenges and engineer reliable solutions.

• Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE: Applicants for the Senior Software Engineer position must possess a bachelor’s degree from an institution located in an English-speaking country, such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
