📋 Description

• Design realistic and challenging coding tasks that involve feature implementation and bug fixes.

• Create tasks that mirror authentic backend engineering workflows along with practical software development challenges.

• Develop deterministic verifiers that accept reasonable valid solutions while rejecting incorrect implementations.

• Build and validate solutions using backend programming languages including Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or C++.

• Develop tasks that encompass scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Assess code quality, maintainability, correctness, and adherence to technical requirements.

• Design evaluation criteria that differentiate robust solutions from those that appear superficially plausible.

• Integrate security considerations into tasks and verifiers as necessary.

• Document assumptions, expected behaviors, edge cases, and validation requirements.

• Utilize independent technical judgment throughout the task development and review process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on backend development experience with one or more of the following: Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.

• Proven experience in building scalable backend services and APIs.

• Practical expertise in debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Experience in reviewing code and evaluating software quality, correctness, and maintainability.

• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and fundamental computer science concepts.

• Ability to independently analyze technical issues and create reliable solutions.

• Strong technical communication and documentation capabilities.

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE: Applicants for the Senior Software Engineer position must possess a bachelor’s degree from an institution in an English-speaking country, such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
