📋 Description

• Design realistic and demanding coding tasks that include feature implementation and bug fixes.

• Create assignments that mirror authentic backend engineering processes and real-world software development challenges.

• Develop deterministic verifiers that can accept reasonable valid solutions while rejecting incorrect implementations.

• Construct and validate solutions using backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or C++.

• Create tasks that involve scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Review the quality of code, its maintainability, correctness, and compliance with technical specifications.

• Design evaluation criteria that differentiate between robust solutions and superficially plausible implementations.

• Incorporate security considerations into tasks and verifiers whenever applicable.

• Document assumptions, expected behaviors, edge cases, and validation requirements.

• Apply independent technical judgment throughout the task development and review stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in backend development with one or more of the following languages: Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.

• Proven expertise in building scalable backend services and APIs.

• Practical experience in debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Experience in reviewing code and evaluating software quality, correctness, and maintainability.

• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core computer science principles.

• Ability to independently analyze technical issues and develop reliable solutions.

• Strong skills in technical communication and documentation.

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE: Candidates for the Senior Software Engineer position must possess a bachelor’s degree from an institution in an English-native country, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
