Software Engineer – Backend, AI Code Evaluation

📋 Description

• Design realistic and challenging coding assignments that involve feature implementation and bug resolution.

• Create tasks that mirror authentic backend engineering processes and real-world software development challenges.

• Develop deterministic verifiers that recognize valid solutions while rejecting incorrect implementations.

• Construct and validate solutions utilizing backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or C++.

• Create tasks that encompass scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance enhancement, and automated testing.

• Evaluate code for quality, maintainability, correctness, and compliance with technical specifications.

• Design evaluation metrics that differentiate between robust solutions and superficially convincing implementations.

• Integrate security considerations into tasks and verifiers whenever applicable.

• Document assumptions, anticipated behaviors, edge cases, and validation criteria.

• Exercise independent technical judgment throughout the development and review of tasks.

• Strong practical backend development experience with Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.

• Proven experience in constructing scalable backend services and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Familiarity with code review processes and evaluating software quality, correctness, and maintainability.

• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and essential computer science principles.

• Capability to independently assess technical challenges and devise reliable solutions.
