Software Engineer, Back-End – Mail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage high-throughput production services that facilitate AI agent orchestration, connector integrations, and real-time data pipelines.

• Create and implement core platform services to ensure system scalability.

• Collaborate across the Superhuman product suite, including Go, Mail, Docs, and Enterprise.

• Partner with ML/AI, Product, and Front-End engineers to deliver AI-driven features from start to finish.

• Build and enhance infrastructure as code focused on high availability for both consumer and enterprise clients.

• Contribute to an engineering culture that prioritizes documentation, testing, and reliability.

• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in back-end development.

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design principles.

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and debugging scalable production systems.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.

• Proficiency in AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.

• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or high-throughput API design is advantageous.

• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code.

• Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent product instincts with the ability to balance speed and reliability.
