Java/Angular Developer, Kafka

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Backend development using Java and Spring

• Frontend development and maintenance with Angular

• Integration and management of workflows through Kafka and Kafka Streams

• Utilization and management of DB2 and PostgreSQL databases

• Analysis and resolution of application issues

• Troubleshooting activities and identification of root causes

• Reverse engineering of existing components and applications

• Creation and updating of technical documentation

• Use of Git for version control

• Interaction with clients and technical teams involved in the project

• Development, maintenance, and analysis of complex applications in an enterprise context

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in software development

• Strong knowledge of Java

• Strong knowledge of Spring

• Hands-on experience with Angular

• Familiarity with Kafka and Kafka Streams

• Experience with Git

• Good understanding of DB2

• Good understanding of PostgreSQL

• Experience in producing and managing technical documentation

• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Aptitude for reverse engineering
