Senior Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain database structures and objects, creating queries and stored procedures utilizing MS SQL and PostgreSQL.

• Enhance and optimize current database structures and code.

• Update and develop reports, widgets, and dashboards for Veeam ONE, VSPC, and various other reporting tools.

• Revise existing business logic to align with new business needs.

• Collaborate closely with analysts and QA teams.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Proficiency in MS SQL (essential) and PostgreSQL.

• Strong knowledge of relational database design, indexing, transactions, and query execution plans.

• Demonstrated ability in writing complex queries, scripts, and stored procedures.

• Capacity to comprehend and work with existing code written by others.

• Experience in leadership and mentoring roles.

• Traits of responsibility, diligence, discipline, high efficiency, a desire for professional growth, and teamwork experience.

• Familiarity with backend development (C#) to effectively discuss technical solutions with backend teams, coordinate work division between database and application layers, and read code when necessary (bonus skill).

• Remote work is only permitted for employees located in the Czech Republic.
