Software Engineer – Back-End Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +38 more locations.

📋 Description

• Create products and features that enable Kin's operations.

• Write clean, maintainable, and effective code using Ruby on Rails.

• Deliver user stories, tasks, or complete features.

• Engage in pair programming with fellow team members.

• Take part in daily standups and weekly retrospectives.

• Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams.

• Offer subject matter expertise and support.

• Work closely with engineering peers within a collaborative setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering small to medium-sized software projects.

• Proficient in coding with Ruby, Javascript, or Typescript.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.

• Quick learner with the ability to leverage prior knowledge and continue growing.

• Preferably located in Central or Eastern time zones (CST & EST).

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

• Kin is unable to provide sponsorship for employment visas.

• Must be able to reside and work full-time in one of the eligible U.S. states; technical roles in Canada are restricted to Ontario residents.
