Freelance Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain server-side logic along with database structures for FyerX's internal systems and client-facing applications.

• Create and implement scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.

• Facilitate secure interactions between frontend interfaces and external services.

• Oversee and optimize relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Manage and enhance NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.

• Apply security protocols, data protection strategies, and authentication/authorization processes like OAuth and JWT.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and project managers.

• Diagnose performance issues and improve workflows.

• Deploy updates using CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Backend Developer role.

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates scalable server-side applications, APIs, and database architecture.

• Over 3 years of professional backend development experience in building, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable server-side systems.

• Advanced knowledge in one or more backend programming languages, such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP.

• Familiarity with relevant backend frameworks like Express, Django, or Spring Boot.

• In-depth understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization for both SQL and NoSQL environments.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure services, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Proficiency in server management and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Strong strategic problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to writing clean, modular code and maintaining thorough technical documentation.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple backend projects concurrently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with remote technical teams.
