Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Contribute throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to final release, ensuring quality at every phase.

• Engage in system architecture discussions to design applications that are scalable and high-availability.

• Implement new features while enhancing existing functionalities.

• Maintain and develop service APIs that cater to millions of users.

• Collaborate with systems engineers to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

• Take part in quality assurance processes and the resolution of defects.

• Work across various disciplines, including front-end, back-end, test automation, and infrastructure.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to an engineering leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.

• Understanding of Object-Oriented design and Microservice Architecture.

• Experience with applications that are scalable and high-availability.

• Comfort with Linux command line environments.

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is required.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Nice to have: Experience with DynamoDB, MySQL, or other relational and non-relational databases.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with AWS and Docker, or AWS certifications.

• Nice to have: Experience with service orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or HashiCorp.
