This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain both existing and new applications.
• Offer subject matter expertise to AMS and other teams within the Center.
• Contribute to the prioritization of product features and technology roadmaps.
• Design, build, and conduct unit tests on highly scalable applications.
• Provide maintenance support and handle incident escalations.
• Identify emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities.
• Engage in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, and sprint reviews.
• Create foundational design documents and translate them into component-level designs.
• Design, develop, and distribute reusable technical components.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation.
• Participate in the development of test plans, integration, and deployment activities.
• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed application solution designs for clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses coupled with 6 years of experience in Information Technology OR 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Capability to sit and perform computer entry for the entire duration of the work shift, as necessary.
• Proficient in managing workload, multiple priorities, and conflicts with customers, employees, and managers, when applicable.
• Experience in traditional programming languages such as COBOL, Perl, and C++.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including BASH, PERL, PYTHON, and RUBY.
• Background in application and product feature design.
• Familiarity with integration technologies such as Tibco, Informatica, and CAS.
• Experience with mobile technologies including HP Anywhere, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience in web technologies like HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#.
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies such as SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
• Experience with application configuration.
• Capability in rapid prototyping.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Iterative Development.
• Skills in system performance management.
• Knowledge in systems change and configuration management.
