Mobile Engineer – iOS, Android, React Native, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and launch impactful features for consumer-focused iOS and/or Android applications utilized by millions of users worldwide

• Utilize React Native, native codebases, and AI-driven development tools

• Engage in mobile modernization initiatives to enhance app architecture, clean code patterns, and platform capabilities

• Produce maintainable, thoroughly tested mobile code

• Take ownership of features from design specification to releases on the App Store and Google Play

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to implement APIs, design systems, and product experiences

• Employ AI tools daily for code generation, architectural refactoring, and test automation

• Contribute to cross-platform tooling, performance enhancements, and shared component libraries

• Assist with deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android

• Recent hands-on experience in production environments building, maintaining, and deploying applications using React Native

• Proven experience in shipping and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store

• In-depth knowledge of contemporary mobile architecture patterns, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, or Unidirectional Data Flow

• Practical experience in deploying production code with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot

• Comfortable understanding and contributing to API and backend layers as necessary

• Demonstrated ability to take charge of features from technical specifications through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support

• Strong understanding of software design principles, automated testing, thorough code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines

• Over 7 years of experience delivering complex features and influencing technical decisions within the mobile team

• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• React Native experience must be current and production-based; outdated experience or involvement limited to side projects, bootcamps, or academic coursework is not acceptable
