This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.
• Design and create scalable solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Develop and enhance Lightning pages, custom components, workflows, and business automation processes.
• Craft solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Configure and extend Salesforce functionalities using Flow, validation rules, custom objects, permission sets, and other platform features.
• Facilitate integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Engage in solution design, technical reviews, code evaluations, and estimation discussions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Aid in QA, UAT, defect resolution, and production validation processes.
• Adhere to standards for source control, branching, deployment, and release management.
• Enhance unit-test coverage, ensure regression readiness, improve technical documentation, uphold development standards, and maintain code quality and platform stability.
• Diagnose production issues and assist with root cause analysis.
• Identify technical debt and propose opportunities to streamline or enhance existing solutions.
• Work collaboratively with onshore, offshore, nearshore, and vendor development teams.
• Stay informed about Salesforce platform releases and suggest relevant capabilities.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
• In-depth knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Proficient in Apex development, including triggers, classes, asynchronous Apex, batch processing, and test classes.
• Familiarity with SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce data models, and security models.
• Solid understanding of Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Salesforce access controls.
• Experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation.
• Background in building or supporting integrations via APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, source control, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Knowledge of GitHub, Azure DevOps, Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or similar DevOps tools.
• Awareness of enterprise development standards, code review processes, release management, and SDLC practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating within an Agile/sprint-based delivery environment.
• Preferred: Experience with Experience Cloud and external portals.
• Preferred: Background in complex Salesforce integrations.
• Preferred: Experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce data migrations and large-scale data processing.
• Preferred: Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Salesforce certifications preferred: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant.
