Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, test, and implement cloud solutions using Azure or AWS.

• Engage in both internal and client-facing design discussions from estimation to the deployment of full-stack solutions.

• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including both front-end and back-end development, unit testing, end-to-end testing, and data migrations.

• Attend daily meetings, assist with scope estimations, issue triage, and platform stability investigations.

• Contribute to projects as an individual contributor or as part of a larger team.

• Create comprehensive solutions utilizing Python, TypeScript, Azure, FastAPI, NextJS, and associated frameworks.

• Deploy resources within Azure and AWS cloud environments.

• Take part in team and customer meetings while providing status updates.

• Implement unit testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, source code repositories, and build systems for web applications and web services.

• Take ownership of solutions and engage in discussions with peers and customers.

• Analyze issues quantitatively, define technical requirements, and prioritize program deliverables.

• Assist financial institutions in adopting AI and translating emerging technologies into tangible business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in developing applications and services using TypeScript, Python, or a similar programming language.

• Experience in building and deploying SaaS applications at scale.

• Familiarity with data storage engines such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, and AWS Dynamo.

• Experience in designing RESTful APIs for complex systems.

• Proficiency in securing applications from data at rest to the public interface.

• Experience delivering solutions on Azure or AWS, including services like Azure SQL DB, App Service, and Foundry.

• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain and Semantic Kernel, along with RAG, agentic patterns, and workflow orchestration (preferred).

• Formal training in engineering disciplines (preferred).
