Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create software solutions utilizing Java 8+ and the Spring Boot framework.

• Engage in microservices architecture and API development.

• Employ PostgreSQL for database management.

• Oversee version control processes using Git.

• Monitor tasks and issues through Jira.

• Execute basic scripting tasks in Linux.

• Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines and development processes.

• Work in partnership with both technical and business teams.

• Deploy software solutions at a client site in Malaysia.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Java 8+ and the Spring Boot framework.

• Practical experience with microservices and API development.

• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL databases.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Familiarity with task tracking and ticketing tools like Jira.

• Basic proficiency in Linux scripting.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Indian nationality is required.

• Availability to join immediately or within a 30-day notice period.

• Prior experience or familiarity with B2C applications is a plus.

• Some background in frontend development is advantageous.
