Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to deliver SaaS-based solutions

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with others to create high-quality software

• Enhance processes along with product design and architecture

• Foster innovation by generating new product ideas

• Conduct technology and feasibility studies

• Design secure, high-performing, scalable, and highly available solutions

• Develop technical solutions to complex challenges and lead them through implementation

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to deployments, networking, configuration, databases, performance, stability, security, and application logic

• Assist team members in resolving complex or urgent problems

• Mentor and provide technical training for team members

• Train and onboard new hires

• Champion the core values of the development team

• Integrate AI into product features, workflows, and decision-making processes

• Identify opportunities for AI to enhance efficiency, automation, or customer value and manage initiatives from start to finish

• Deploy and support applications in higher environments

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a .NET Developer in developing, testing, shipping, and supporting production-quality SaaS-based web applications

• Capability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards and best practices

• Experience in conducting code reviews

• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework

• Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .NET 6/8, and other .NET technologies

• Extensive experience in developing unit, integration, E2E, and load/stress tests

• Strong experience with relational databases such as MS SQL

• Comprehensive understanding of Azure services, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and AKS

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Proven experience with AI/ML technologies, applied AI use cases, and modern AI tooling

• Experience experimenting with generative AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Experience working in Agile development environments

• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git

• Willingness to remain informed about industry trends and continuously enhance skills

• Must maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus information assets

• Must ensure the privacy of employee and customer data and complete required privacy training
