Legacy System Export Developer – PeopleSoft, EBS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop SQL and PL/SQL extraction programs to retrieve employee data from PeopleSoft HRMS and Oracle EBS HCM.

• Analyze specific agency configurations and customizations to create data mapping documents that align with Oracle Fusion HCM HDL formats.

• Construct PeopleSoft Application Designer and Application Engine routines for mock migrations and production cutover processes.

• Design and implement concurrent programs and extraction packages for Oracle EBS HCM.

• Generate SQR reports and validation queries to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and EHRI compliance of data extractions.

• Perform data profiling to assess data quality, identify gaps, and establish custom handling requirements.

• Maintain legacy environments for PeopleSoft and EBS, including schema refreshes, access management, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with agency system administrators on customizations, integrations, and data dependencies.

• Execute reconciliation processes that compare legacy data with extraction outputs to guarantee no data loss occurs.

• Document extraction processes, agency-specific mappings, and known data issues in accordance with SAFe Agile artifact standards.

• Assist agencies during cutover events by executing final extracts, validating outputs, and troubleshooting any issues.

• Implement best practices to address technical challenges and contribute knowledge to team repositories.

• Engage with project stakeholders, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support coordinated delivery across various workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance is essential.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in database development, data extraction, or database administration supporting enterprise HR systems.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and/or Oracle EBS HCM.

• Proficient SQL/PL-SQL skills and experience in crafting complex queries against substantial HR datasets.

• Experience in data mapping for system migrations.

• Familiarity with HR data domains such as demographics, job history, positions, compensation, and benefits.

• Experience in data validation, profiling, and assessing data quality.

• Understanding of Agile/SAFe and iterative migration processes.
