Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Convert functional requirements into system specifications.

• Create web-based applications utilizing coding standards and a continuous Build-Integrate-Test Agile methodology.

• Write foundational code for assigned modules and features using available technology stacks and programming languages.

• Design and implement basic database solutions.

• Employ troubleshooting and debugging techniques.

• Utilize Configuration Management tools and uphold CM practices.

• Comply with organizational QA standards.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production infrastructure issues, interfaces, and dependencies.

• Design, construct, and sustain LLM-powered solutions, custom GPTs, and domain-specific assistants.

• Create and enhance prompts, system instructions, and context strategies.

• Execute prompt chaining, tool invocation, and basic agentic workflows.

• Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines utilizing vector databases.

• Assess, test, and refine LLM outputs based on quality and safety standards.

• Implement responsible AI principles, safety protocols, and governance standards.

• Create full stack AI-enabled applications, backend services, APIs, and UI integrations.

• Integrate LLM functionalities into existing enterprise applications.

• Construct reusable services and components for AI capabilities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application or AI-related challenges.

• Develop and deploy AI solutions on Azure and/or AWS.

• Support CI/CD pipelines for both application and AI workloads.

• Assist with MLOps workflows, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.

• Ensure that production solutions are secure, reliable, and cost-effective.

• Collaborate with onshore leads, offshore teams, business stakeholders, customers, supervisors, team members, business analysts, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.

• Strong background in full stack development.

• Proficient in Python with solid programming fundamentals.

• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and prompt engineering.

• Experience in creating or customizing GPT-based solutions.

• Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector databases.

• Cloud experience with Azure and AWS.

• Basic knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, and production support practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred as a desirable qualification.

• Frontend experience with modern frameworks is a plus.
