Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Resolve most bugs and challenges in both familiar and unfamiliar codebases.

• Design and independently implement incremental enhancements.

• Collaborate on broader solutions with guidance from an architect.

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex coding issues, such as race conditions, cross-threading, and intermittent data issues.

• Take responsibility for delivering high-quality work, software maintenance, performance, and scalability.

• Advocate for best practices in AI-enhanced development.

• Assist in shaping the application of AI-assisted engineering tools within the team.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop solutions for the Pharmaceutical TMF sector.

• Employ a security-focused mindset and create secure, maintainable software.

• Provide support during third-line investigations.

• Collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer to help establish the new engineering team in Poland.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• In-depth experience with Microsoft .NET / C# and Visual Studio.

• Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL.

• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection, unit testing, and RESTful web services.

• Familiarity with React, Angular, or other modern UI frameworks.

• Experience with Azure or alternative cloud PaaS services, containerization, and scalable distributed solutions.

• Experience in assessing and adopting AI-assisted development tools in a security-conscious, regulated engineering environment.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of GCP and/or TMF is advantageous, though not mandatory.
