This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the daily execution of distributed work projects, which includes planning for migration, assessing readiness, and tracking performance.
• Leverage data-driven insights regarding capability, capacity, and performance to make informed migration decisions.
• Create integrated schedules, manage dependencies across functions, and define work packages.
• Collaborate with CGO, Programs, Functions, and Corporate to align on requirements, infrastructure, timelines, and risks.
• Identify and monitor risks, constraints, and resource gaps that may affect the execution of distributed work.
• Set readiness criteria, develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and change impact assessments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the CGO’s distributed work playbook, governance, and standardized processes.
• Work with engineering, operations, supply chain, DT/ECC, GSS/Cyber, and workforce intelligence to tackle technical, security, infrastructure, and staffing requirements.
• Provide communications, status updates, KPI tracking, and leadership reports.
• Utilize planning tools, earned value tactics, and analytics to aid in capacity assessments, operational readiness, and data-driven migration decisions.
• Document lessons learned to improve distributed work processes and promote scalable enhancements in line with the CGO’s capacity strategy.
• Travel up to 35% to engage with stakeholders, support initiatives, and ensure alignment across various sites.
• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• At least ten (10) years of prior experience in technical and functional leadership roles within operations, supply chain, systems, hardware, or multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Certification in program/project management, Lean/Six Sigma, planning/scheduling, or ERP systems.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with competing priorities in a matrixed environment that spans engineering, operations, supply chain, DT, cyber/security, real estate, and workforce planning.
• Proven experience in identifying risks, developing mitigations, ensuring readiness, and executing structured change management strategies.
• Proficient in preparing leadership-level briefings, KPIs, and status reports utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in interpreting system data for decision-making.
• Experience in leading or contributing to operational improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, or business transformations.
• Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and manage various stakeholders across programs and functions.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is necessary before the start date.
• An active and existing DoD Secret clearance is required on day one.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Preferred: an advanced degree in Business; an MBA is preferred (in progress is acceptable).
• Preferred: experience in both commercial and defense sectors.
• Preferred: experience in managing budgets, schedules, materials, and capacity for large programs/projects.
• Preferred: leadership experience in production control, infrastructure, or supply chain execution with a focus on risk mitigation and system optimization.
