Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Enhance and refine the app development experience

• Design and implement workflow and automation features

• Create AI agents that leverage tools, data, and automation

• Develop integrations with third-party systems and APIs

• Optimize performance, reliability, security, and access controls

• Construct user-friendly product experiences that simplify complex functionalities

• Collaborate on impactful projects within Budibase alongside seasoned engineers

• Analyze challenges, assist in crafting solutions, develop features, and deliver them to users

• Assume responsibility for progressively larger projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering

• Solid foundations in JavaScript or TypeScript

• Proficient in both frontend and backend development

• Experience in launching real product features for users

• Strong technical fundamentals and a good sense of product design

• Capability to take a problem from concept to production

• Familiarity with AI coding tools

• Interest in the influence of AI on software development

• Enthusiastic about learning and engaging with various segments of a codebase

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others

• Mid-level proficiency

• Prior experience with AI is not mandatory
