Software Engineer, Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the technical strategy of the RCM platform by suggesting and executing enhancements to architecture, tools, and technologies.

• Develop comprehensive products aimed at transforming revenue cycle management for providers and administrators.

• Manage complete integration workflows from design and development to deployment and post-launch monitoring.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to collect integration requirements, outline technical strategies, and prioritize tasks.

• Enhance system reliability and observability through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.

• Improve the performance and scalability of web applications.

• Work alongside infrastructure and backend teams to guarantee high availability and resilience of core functionalities.

• Mentor and support engineers in their professional development.

• Conduct code reviews, maintain best practices, and promote architectural advancements.

• Deliver production AI features for claims submission, remittance posting, denials and appeals, and document extraction.

• Oversee the complete AI feature lifecycle from prompt design and evaluations to production infrastructure.

• Collaborate with customers and internal operations teams to establish auditable, AI-supported workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in frontend languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proficient in backend languages including Python, Go, or C++.

• Familiarity with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring/alerting tools.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions and make successful architectural choices.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
