Software Engineer – AI Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy integrations for coding-agent environments, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Docker.

• Create, construct, and distribute the Zyte CLI for PyPI and npm.

• Create and sustain packages and tools for developer frameworks, agent SDKs, and browser automation tools.

• Establish recurring data delivery to customers’ cloud and data platforms.

• Evaluate automation and app-building platforms, and prototype integrations or templates.

• Assess the feasibility, required effort, dependencies, and maintenance for potential integrations.

• Incorporate tracking for signups and usage related to each integration.

• Produce setup guides, examples, and documentation for users and coding agents.

• Oversee submissions to partner directories, registries, and marketplaces.

• Manage live integrations, including troubleshooting, releases, and version control.

• Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, SaaS, and Platform teams.

• Engage in code reviews, planning, and squad routines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python and a strong understanding of TypeScript/Node.js.

• Experience in creating SDKs, client libraries, CLIs, plugins, or third-party integrations utilized by external developers.

• Practical experience with coding agents and AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.

• Knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-calling interfaces.

• Experience in publishing and maintaining packages on PyPI and npm, covering versioning, CI/CD, testing, and releases.

• Good understanding of REST APIs and authentication methods.

• Ability to ensure credential security in both client and server environments.

• Results-oriented mindset using data to identify areas for improvement.

• Proficient in clear written communication in English.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and early-stage project scoping within a new team.

• Experience in a distributed, remote-first team environment is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or agent SDKs is a plus.

• Experience with AWS or GCP data services, or Snowflake, is an asset.

• Knowledge of web scraping, Scrapy, or browser automation is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Experience in open-source maintenance or Developer Relations is a plus.
