Lead Android AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage actively with the project team to advance the product through the entire development lifecycle.

• Maintain code quality and governance standards.

• Ensure that engineers adhere to the patterns and designs established with project leads.

• Plan, estimate, and contribute to the architecture, coding, and development efforts.

• Refactor codebases and promote continuous enhancement.

• Convey technical decisions and information clearly to the global team.

• Assume responsibility for releases and assist in the ongoing support of live applications.

• Participate in the deployment and operation of software through DevOps activities.

• Provide equitable outcomes for customers while upholding professional conduct.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in Canada; relocation assistance is not available.

• Significant Kotlin development experience (4+ years).

• Strong skills in object-oriented design, with knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Experience with Jetpack Compose (3+ years).

• Familiarity with Gemini and/or Claude (2+ years).

• Background in GWT and/or AWS cloud environments (3+ years).

• Proficient in TDD and DDD methodologies.

• Experience using and configuring CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience working directly with clients and other project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile is preferred.

• Knowledge of TypeScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with Python is preferred.

• Experience with Hyper Velocity Engineering is preferred.

• Knowledge of BMAD methodology is preferred.
