Software Development Specialist, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and develop services using Go, implementing software design principles such as hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD), along with automated testing as a standard practice.

• Engage in architectural decisions regarding the payments platform, evaluating trade-offs related to microservices, integrations, and system resilience.

• Design and enhance solutions within the AWS cloud environment, incorporating infrastructure as code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for the team’s services.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite delivery while ensuring adherence to quality standards—reviewing and taking responsibility for the generated output.

• Foster knowledge sharing within the team: mentor junior colleagues, carry out contextual code reviews, document decisions, and facilitate technical discussions.

• Provide support for services in production by investigating incidents and addressing their root causes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the Go programming language and its associated paradigms.

• Extensive experience in software design, specifically with hexagonal architecture, DDD, and unit testing practices.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, including communication, contracts, consistency, and handling partial failures.

• Understanding of AWS cloud solution architecture.

• Experience with CI/CD processes and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Regular use of AI tools in development, applying sound judgment regarding the quality of generated outputs.

• Excellent communication skills paired with a knowledge-sharing attitude: mentoring, teaching, and advancing the team collectively.

• Preferred: experience in payment systems or other highly critical transactional domains.

• Preferred: familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures.

• Preferred: experience with service observability in production environments.
