This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and deploy intricate full-stack features encompassing Python backend services, APIs, RPA/automation workflows, and browser-extension UI/automation.
• Create and enhance Chrome extensions utilizing content scripts, background/service-worker logic, side-panel UI, and DOM tools.
• Manage automation and product components comprehensively from requirement clarification through implementation to ensuring production reliability.
• Evaluate business and clinical/RCM processes and convert them into effective automation workflows and reusable components.
• Connect extension clients with backend orchestration via HTTP and WebSockets.
• Participate in technical design choices related to scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Promote engineering best practices throughout the SDLC, including code quality, testing, security, observability, and operational excellence.
• Develop resilient, well-tested services and interfaces that integrate with products and external healthcare systems such as EHRs and claims platforms.
• Ensure software adheres to HIPAA, GDPR, and data-protection regulations.
• Troubleshoot, profile, and strengthen production systems and deployed automations.
• Offer hands-on technical mentorship through design discussions, collaborative work, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, RCM, and engineering stakeholders to provide technically sound solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven history of building and deploying production systems.
• Extensive, current, hands-on expertise in Python for backend services and automation; experience with FastAPI/Flask/Django or similar async Python frameworks.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, including modern state management techniques such as Redux Toolkit and component-driven UI.
• Experience in developing browser extensions, preferably Chrome MV3, including content scripts, background/service workers, messaging, permissions, and in-page UI injection.
• Practical DOM/browser automation abilities, including CSS selectors, iframes, event simulation, and debugging automation against live web applications.
• Strong software design acumen across backend services, APIs, WebSockets, and user-facing application layers.
• Experience in building or integrating RPA/workflow automation solutions.
• Knowledge of integrating with third-party systems, databases, and distributed services within production environments.
• Hands-on experience in managing production systems, including CI/CD, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with healthcare data and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and GDPR, or the ability to quickly adapt to a regulated environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills, capable of aligning engineers and stakeholders around a technical strategy.
• Solid experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization using Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
