Software Development Engineer II – Agency Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement features within the Agency Module, Agency Onboarding, and Platform Billing for both backend and frontend systems.

• Architect and create scalable backend services, APIs, and integrate with internal microservices as well as third-party platforms like Stripe.

• Create high-performance frontend experiences that facilitate agency management, onboarding, and billing processes.

• Take ownership of features from initial requirements and technical planning through to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

• Employ AI-driven coding methodologies and tools such as LLMs, Cursor, and Claude Code.

• Design data models and construct efficient queries across MongoDB, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.

• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Produce clean, secure, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.

• Utilize logs, metrics, monitoring, and tracing to diagnose production issues and enhance reliability.

• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, incident management, and operational support, including on-call duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience in developing and delivering production-grade full-stack applications.

• Robust hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend development, particularly in APIs and service integrations; experience with NestJS is a plus.

• Strong frontend development skills with Vue.js, React, or Angular, with a preference for Vue.js.

• Solid understanding of component-based development and state management techniques.

• Experience in building and utilizing REST APIs, alongside working with microservices and service-to-service integrations.

• Practical experience with MongoDB or similar databases, focusing on data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with asynchronous and event-driven application patterns using GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable technologies.

• Capability to debug and resolve production issues across frontend, backend, databases, and integrations using logs and monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of automated testing practices, code reviews, Git, CI/CD, and production deployment processes.

• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, ownership mindset, and collaborative skills.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with AI tools, open-source projects, modern frontend frameworks, full-stack web applications, and GCP cloud-native development.
