This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop live mobile games such as Single City, Kingdoms of Heckfire, and Party in my Dorm.
• Create tools and infrastructure for large-scale multiplayer online experiences.
• Implement scalable, dependable, and maintainable client and server technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with artists and designers.
• Develop features, systems, and tools for games that are currently live.
• Construct full-stack features, managing both front-end client code and back-end server support.
• Engage in design, implementation, playtesting, and metrics analysis.
• Build systems for safe deployment to a distributed backend.
• Design tools to automate and enhance cross-disciplinary processes.
• Work on game backends using Django and MySQL, as well as frontend clients utilizing Unity or native iOS/Android.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program by winter 2027.
• Generalist in technology with a full-stack engineering focus.
• Eagerness to work on both client-side and server-side implementations.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Capability to express thoughts and ideas clearly in both code and writing.
• Interest in and experience with mobile gaming products.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Based in Canada.
• Availability during core hours from 11am to 4pm PST.
