Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and create effective and dependable digital solutions.

• Write code, develop software components, and implement functionalities based on project specifications.

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to establish technical architecture and infrastructure.

• Engage in technical discussions, design patterns, and architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Test code and partake in quality assurance processes.

• Write and execute unit tests, perform code reviews, and debug as well as troubleshoot issues.

• Participate in agile or other development methodologies, including meetings, project planning, and progress tracking.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as system designs, specifications, and user manuals.

• Seek professional growth through conferences, online courses, and training programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.

• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) is preferred.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification preferred.

• Capability to design, develop, and implement digital solutions and systems.

• Skills in programming, software development, system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders on technical architecture and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with agile or other development methodologies.
