📋 Description

• Define and implement the overarching software development strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.

• Guide and mentor Software Development Managers as well as senior technical leaders.

• Create a high-performing, scalable engineering organization.

• Propel long-term technology roadmaps and innovation initiatives.

• Attract, nurture, and retain top software engineering talent.

• Develop leadership pipelines and succession planning.

• Set and uphold software development standards, frameworks, and governance.

• Advocate for best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.

• Ensure the quality, security, performance, and maintainability of code.

• Oversee the execution of multiple software initiatives across various teams.

• Guarantee consistent and predictable delivery of high-quality products within time and scope.

• Promote Agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and iterative development.

• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives through innovative software solutions.

• Assess and adopt new technologies and tools.

• Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, design, and business stakeholders.

• Report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.

• Tackle complex organizational and technical challenges at scale.

• Encourage data-driven decision-making across teams.

• Proven experience in a senior leadership capacity (Director or higher) within software development.

• Strong technical foundation with a thorough understanding of contemporary software engineering practices.

• Experience in managing multiple teams and leaders (e.g., Managers, Leads).

• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale and complex software initiatives.

• Experience leading Agile transformations throughout organizations.

• Strong background in driving digital transformation initiatives.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to influence and collaborate at the executive level.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
