Chemical Engineering Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with advanced language models focusing on chemical engineering topics.

• Interact with models regarding real-world engineering situations and theoretical questions in chemical engineering.

• Ensure factual correctness and logical integrity.

• Document reproducible error traces and outline failure modes.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and assessment metrics.

• Assist in the creation of high-quality training datasets for AI scientific reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, reaction engineering, process design, transport phenomena, chemical kinetics, catalysis, materials science, and biochemical engineering.

• Proficiency in reactor optimization, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, phase equilibria, process safety, separation processes, polymer science, and industrial process control.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills with the ability to articulate your reasoning.

• A PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, process simulations, lab-scale or pilot-plant work, or industry experience using Aspen Plus or COMSOL is advantageous.
