Software Developer, Senior – D365 BC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.

• Create and customize extensions utilizing the AL programming language.

• Assess business needs and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop and manage integrations with external applications using APIs, web services, and .NET technologies.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve application challenges and performance issues.

• Conduct code evaluations and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation for the solutions developed.

• Offer production support, enhancements, and ongoing improvements to existing applications.

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in software development.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV development.

• Proficient in AL programming and extension development.

• Experience with .NET/C# for integrations and custom development.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.

• Practical experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, and version control systems.

• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps is a plus.

• Background in ERP implementations or product development projects is advantageous.

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, or ERP business processes is beneficial.

• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications are a plus.

• Experience in SaaS or product-based organizations is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
