Software Developer, Python – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and manage RESTful services and APIs utilizing Python, TypeScript (Node.js), or Go.

• Design, implement, and enhance relational databases to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and scalability.

• Write efficient SQL queries while optimizing them, focusing on indexing and execution plan analysis.

• Maintain code quality through adherence to development best practices, including Clean Code and SOLID principles.

• Develop and uphold automated testing processes, including both unit and integration tests.

• Collaborate with the team to evolve the architecture and continuously enhance development methodologies.

• Deliver the software outputs expected from the Squad.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed higher education (technologist degree, bachelor's degree, and/or lato sensu or stricto sensu postgraduate degree) in Information Technology.

• Proven track record as a mid-level Backend Developer.

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, TypeScript (Node.js), or Go (Golang).

• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Experience in creating and optimizing SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, indexing, and execution plan analysis.

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: experience or knowledge of Go (Golang).

• Preferred: understanding of NoSQL databases like Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

• Preferred: experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
