This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain features within the Keystone PACS platform.

• Handle DICOM data and imaging workflows, which involve storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting.

• Create and support integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems.

• Engineer services with a strong emphasis on high availability, scalability, performance, and observability.

• Assume complete ownership of the quality, testing, and readiness for production of your work.

• Produce clean, well-documented code and participate in code and design reviews.

• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to assess new technologies.

• Collaborate with the Support team to identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production challenges.

• Work together with Product and Support to convert client requirements into effective solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Practical experience with medical imaging, PACS, and the DICOM standard.

• Proficient in a modern object-oriented programming language, such as C# / .NET or C++.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

• Strong grasp of networking and client/server architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously in a remote team environment.

• Experience with HL7 or healthcare integrations.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, along with image storage solutions at scale.

• Background in 3D rendering or advanced image viewing technologies.
