This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain features within the Keystone PACS platform.

• Engage with DICOM data and imaging processes, encompassing storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting.

• Create and maintain integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems.

• Design services aimed at high availability, scalability, performance, and observability.

• Assume complete responsibility for quality, testing, and production readiness.

• Produce clean, well-documented code and actively participate in code and design reviews.

• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to assess new technologies.

• Collaborate with the Support team to pinpoint and resolve performance, scalability, and production challenges.

• Work alongside Product and Support teams to convert client requirements into effective solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Practical experience with medical imaging, PACS, and the DICOM standard.

• Proficient in a modern object-oriented programming language, such as C# / .NET or C++.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

• Strong grasp of networking principles and client/server architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently within a remote team.

• Experience with HL7 or healthcare integrations.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, along with extensive image storage solutions.

• Experience in 3D rendering or advanced image visualization tools.
