• Engage directly with quantitative data to develop innovative capabilities and enhance existing ones.
• Create data products that address critical challenges in the automotive sector.

• Work daily with automotive industry data, including intricate business rules and data management practices.
• Manage the complete development lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate data requirements and convert business challenges into technical solutions.
• Build robust and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Dataproc, Airflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
• Design, troubleshoot, and implement repeatable data workflows.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze complex issues and present findings to business leadership.
• Uphold engineering best practices and pinpoint security vulnerabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers in technologies, processes, and domain knowledge specific to the industry.
• Lead cross-functional projects involving Consulting, New Product Development, Data, and Engineering teams.
• Act as a strategic technical advisor for data-centric business solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Quantitative Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of full-time experience in quantitative analytics and data engineering.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Expertise in modern cloud data platforms, specifically GCP BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Highly adept in ETL processes with a proven track record of efficiency and accuracy.
• Practical experience with Airflow, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
• Experience in integrating complex, multi-source datasets with various dimensions and levels of complexity.
• Proven ability to creatively and effectively solve data quality issues.
• Strong judgment in identifying anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Capability to convert technical analysis into clear business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Subject matter expertise or the ability to quickly attain in-depth domain knowledge in industry-specific business rules and processes.
• Proficient in AI-assisted development tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Ability to evaluate when to accept, modify, or reject AI-generated outputs.
• Skilled in providing effective context, encompassing codebase conventions, requirements, and constraints.
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance test authoring, documentation, and routine code refactoring.
• Awareness of AI tool limitations, including hallucinated APIs, outdated patterns, security risks, and the necessity for human verification.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of managing work from requirements to deployment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Contributes to team development through peer reviews, collaborative work, and mentorship.
